That's not excusing the behavior - but the nations will behave that way. For instance, World War I and II was a battle by Germany to gain a spot in a world dominated by the Anglo-American empire.

Technically, China is bigger than the US in population. Also, Africa, though little chance of every having China's military power, is eventually going to take on China, India in population.

There is a movement to dump God - and some say it's because people want to cover-up sin. For instance, people like Mark Zuckerberg or Bill Gates are more likely to embrace diversity - because Christianity would be telling them whatever little naughty deviancies they have - are wrong!

I think better access to information is the primary driver behind the rise in atheism. Atheism isn't about wanting to "sin" it's mostly about skepticism of claims that do not meet their burden of proof.

If you watch (and you will not) Dr. John MacArthur youtube clips on evolution and creation, you will walk away profoundly impressed. You see, not all Christians are dumb.

I've read a lot of apologist arguments for creation and against evolution and have never once been impressed, not once. It's all the same tired fallacious reasoning. Tell me what he has to say that's any different. Show me one peer reviewed scientific paper on creationism of any recognizable merit. And I never said or even implied all Christians are "dumb."

I am not religious at all, and I am neither a communist, nor a fascist. The nations whose citizens enjoy the greatest freedoms are those with secular governments. The societies with the greatest societal health are those with the least amount of religiosity. Religion simply does not promote freedom or happiness. History shows this quite clearly.
