We are used to specific gravity of the earth. And If we speculate to be ever moved to another planet. And if that planet has more gravity than earth. And it makes our movement difficult or strained. How does that affects our physical body? And how does it impacts our adaption to that gravitational burden?

How do you think gravity has effect on bones and also weight of human body?

I think if people colonized a planet with a stronger gravity than Earth, over time we would see the people there becoming shorter and bone density would increase. Of course it would take a long time for this evolution to occur.

On the Earth - It has to be extreme - cause I don't think even mountainous areas provide noticeable weight changes. However, though, many places in The Rockies, Himalayas - are tough for breathing.
