Is there one? How about nuclear terrorism? Anyway, the Islamic terror threat was so big in Bush's time - but it's seems to have disappeared. Who is really worried about it now?

People have no idea how dangerous life on earth can be. Things could change in just a few minutes. Think asteroids, meteors, comits, black holes, etc.

Americans in particular are virgins to war and destruction. 9/11 was just a small taste of what other countries have endured for years.

To be honest, I'm not too concerned about the threat of nuclear war at this point in time. However unstable some political leaders may or may not be, one nuke being sent off means a whole domino effect and, ultimately, world destruction, which is something most leaders are aware of. Most nuclear threats are empty, because acting on them means entering a war no one is going to win.

There has been a recent skirmish between India and Pakistan.
